Just updating this a bit:

I’m sure we’ve all seen the CW Press Releases by now, advertising that Hellcats was cancelled, and for once, I think the CW’s fall schedule is pretty booked solid. This doesn’t mean we should give up our campaign to bring back Hellcats, but maybe we should put a little more focus on ABC Family. Not only do they shoot for the same type of demographics as the CW, but, they also have the perfect show to pair Hellcats with: Make It Or Break It. Paul Lee is in charge at ABC Entertainment Group, so maybe it’s time to direct your mail/calls/emails to Mr. Lee. We don’t know how he feels about Hellcats but he wasn’t the one who canceled it and surely he’ll know a good thing when he sees it.

Here is all the necessary contact information, followed by a few DOs and DON’Ts to help you decide what to write/type/say.

1. Mail (the most effective method)
Mr. Paul Lee
ABC Entertainment Group
500 S. Buena Vista Street
Burbank, CA 91521-4588
(fan-mail address)

or

Paul Lee, President
ABC Family Channel
3800 West Alameda Ave.
Burbank, CA 91505
(direct network address)

Please send a hand-written (or typed and hand-signed) letter expressing your desire for at least one more season of Hellcats. One letter sent through the mail to the network is worth thousands of emails.

A polite, brief, well-written letter is the best tool for non-Nielsen viewers to make the network execs aware of our fervent support of Hellcats. There are over 1,000 fans of the two facebook pages supporting this campaign! Imagine what the mail room at ABC will look like if they get even half the amount of letters from Hellcats fans in the coming weeks.

*Postcards work well, too, and postage costs less than a stamp for a letter.

And of course, if you’d like to write to the CW, you can do so here:
Mark Pedowitz – President
CW Television Network
3300 W Olive Ave
Burbank, CA 91505-4661

2. Phone calls
Leave a brief message (30 seconds) on the ABC viewer feedback line. Dial 1-818-460-7477 and press 1, 2, 2, then 352.

You can also call ABC’s Burbank office to leave Mr. Lee a message:
1-818-560-1000 (Burbank, CA)

Ask for Paul Lee’s voicemail, and leave him a polite message, which will be recorded and saved, not deleted.

You can also call the CW at these numbers:

This number is to TALK TO A REAL PERSON: 1 818 977 2500
and THIS NUMBER IS TO LEAVE A 30 SECOND MESSAGE 1 818 977 6878

3. Emails

The best email address to use is Paul Lee’s:
paul.lee@abc.com

FYI, emails sent to his account are filtered and monitored.

You can also email The CW here:

Mark.Pedowitz@CWTV.com

OTHER EMAIL ADDRESSES
paul.hewitt@cwtv.com
Peter.Roth@Warnerbros.com
Bruce.Rosenblum@Warnerbros.com

4.You can use the contact form on the ABC site(s) or on The CW website to submit a “Complaint”, but this method is less effective than emailing Paul Lee directly.

If you’d REALLY like to make an impression you can purchase a case of these yellow and blue pom-pom’s:
Buy These Pompom’s and Send them to ABC or The CW now until the end of August! This could really work!

Send them to either The CW or ABC Family. Include either a letter or a large piece of paper that says “Save Hellcats! At least give it the ending it deserves. Re-consider Hellcats, please!” Tell them why you love the show!
Send Letters, Make posters, send pictures of you holding Hellcats signs along with the pom-pom’s!

Use Blue or Yellow envelopes (Hellcats colors). You can buy these on the web, Staples or walmart stores. Send as many as you can!

In all of your correspondence with Mr. Lee and ABC (or Mark and The CW) please keep these tips in mind:

DO tell him your demographic information (age, gender, and where you live in general) so they see Hellcats’s broad fanbase.
DO let him know if you are not a Nielsen viewer.
DO be polite and respectful.
DO keep letters/calls/emails brief and to the point.
DO tell him if you watch your episodes in some way (legally) other than live on TV: iTunes, Hulu, abc.com, DVR, ABC Player for iPad, etc.
DO tell him you want Hellcats to get more SEASONS (not a movie or mini-series) and why.
DO encourage fans you know who are not of the online campaign to write letters, too. Every letter counts!
DO include a show-related items (pom-poms, cheer memorabilia) if you would like to!
DO write ASAP (and then again and again and again if you can)!
DON’T threaten to boycott ABC. That has no impact.
DON’T diss other ABC shows (like “MIOBI”), or use this as an opportunity to complain about other shows that were canceled (and have nothing to do with Mr. Lee). Stick to Hellcats.
DON’T complain about a storyline, a character, etc that you don’t like.
DON’T bring up other things that are negative about the show (like the Nielsen ratings). Not only is everyone aware, but we don’t want to justify its cancellation. Stay positive!
