^For the record, I don't personally believe Cordy actually replaced Doyle, I just thought it was interesting perspective from the writers' standpoint. And, on some level, strangely romantic (but that's just me being weird
)
I agree that it took Cordy actually changing/maturing for Angel to fall for her, while Doyle loved her, flaws and all.

I love that scene, too. Of course, she followed it up with "maybe you don't have
zero potential." Way to sweet talk a guy, Cordy! Oh well, she was growing but still had a ways to go...
