How's Spike a sidekick? Maybe initially, but later in the seasons he definitely became a main character. And they're talking about Sam and Chewbacca in the opening but they're missing from the list, which I find somewhat strange. Perhaps also missing Narnia's St. Peter-like Reepicheep, who was a fabulous character which made The Voyage of the Dawn Treader for me.
