I think they could leave her out of the loop on the Bonnie thing but I don't think they would forget to mention to her that Klaus is in Alaric's body, that's just too big. Only if Klaus comes at her first without her knowing

Because I think they are beautiful in two different ways. Stefan&Caroline is the cute,fluffy and heart-warming kind of beautiful and Damon&Elena is that hot, burning passion, angst kind of beautiful
