Well, actually, after I had fell in the river and then my cousins got me out, my aunt shouted out loud: "What the hell?!? Can't you just stretch your leg and then go to the other side?"
Even though I was extremely cold, I replied: "Be sure about that, auntie, I won't be the only one who'll get wet!"
She didn't believe me. She just said: "Wanna bet?"
I replied: "Of course I do!"
We started walking again, and soon enough, the youngest of my cousins slipped into the river. He got wetter than I did! Then, after we had left and went to a cafeteria -or something like that- my aunt got her purse out of the car and gave me 14 euros.
"From now on, I'm not betting with you anymore!" she said. She didn't. We all got wet!
It may not sound funny to you, but to us, it is a moment to remember! I hate it when there's different sense of humour in each country!
