Something I noticed while rewatching 5x17 was the scene where Barney seeks her out at the shooting range and he explicitly says that he didn't think he could be
worse at being an ex-boyfriend than as a boyfriend. Awe, he thinks he was a bad boyfriend! Poor babes.
