I think their first kiss will be really important with regards to their popularity as a couple. I often compare Dair to Suliet from LOST, because Suliet came out of left field and became even more popular than Jate and Skate, two huge established couples that had been there from the beginning. Suliet had this scene where they kissed and exchanged ILUs*, and even though it was literally seconds long the impact that small scene had was HUGE. People jumped ship overnight. So I am really curious about the first DB scene and I hope, hope that the show does it right.
*I'm not expecting D/B to be exchanging ILU's any time soon! They just need to have this big emotional epiphany and realise that maybe they mean more to each other than they care to admit.
