There Jack was absolutely cool, and that case dealt mostly with an apparent mother's suicide... I found out I'm not moved by Jack's tears if they are not related with the case... Sorry for that! | OMG! i have to agree with you on this one... jack's past pops up kinda out of nowhere... danny's (for the most part) just builds on what they put in place for his character all the way toward the beginning of season 1 (and is awesome in the process )... what they've added makes sense based on how he acts and what they've already said (like that his dad yelled at his mom and we find out later he was abusive)...
but with jack, there seems to be no evidence that he's constantly affected by his mother's suicide (i mean obviously there has to be something driving him as a character, but there was no indication that that's what it coulda been) until they write it in during season 2... and i have to, sadly, agree that jack's pain and tears don't have an impact on me at all... i just can't seem to whump jack... great character of course, but whumping him is tough when most of it is written in as convenient plot points and randomly placed in... |
