And Laurelle, you're correct. Cate was nominated & won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her turn as Katharine Hepburn in The Aviator that night.
Ahhh, I was a VERY happy girl that evening! I can remember it like it were yesterday.
I have video footage of both of them being interviewed that night & you can hear some of their conversation in the background. Hmph, it's on tape though...wish I could upload it to the computer but I'm so dumb when it comes to things like that.
