Exactly! Most teenage couples are so unrealistic! But I love that with SS, they just seemed so realistic to me!
They were handled really well. And it could have been so easy for the writers to mess that up since Seth and Summer are so opposite. And because at first Summer wasn't interested in Seth at all.
But I love that she wasn't all of a sudden in love with him. And Seth had a backbone. He wouldn't let her walk all over him, he could ignore her or say no.
Also the fact that Summer ignoring him wasn't completely forgotten really added to their realness. The writers didn't just put them together and block out how she used to ignore him. It was brought up multiple times.
And that paired with their adorableness makes them one of the best TV couples, imo.
