I'll be honest, I actually really like all of these ideas. They haven't covered any of them yet.

A same-sex relationship with an abusive partner: Even though Dylan was a total jerk to Marco, he never abused him. So. That doesn't count. I don't think Riley would ever intentionally hurt Zane, maybe spiral out of control once or twice, but I wonder if Degrassi would really go all the way with a storyline like that for those two. However, since Degrassi doesn't have any other gay couple on the show, they could use the Riley and Zane storyline. For instance, Zane and Riley could break up over something stupid (for like the tenth time this season) and then Zane could befriend a guy who's also gay and get comfort from him. Then, eventually, Zane would want to start a relationship with him and after they start it, Zane finds out he's abusive. So one day, Zane gets really hurt by him and doesn't know what else to do, so he runs to Riley's house (or Riley saves him, whichever). And then the storyline goes on and on and on and they could really do something with it :/ But that's just my theories/opinions. LOL. However, they might save it for another couple, because Fiona's got the spotlight right now with an abusive partner.

Male rape, by either a female or another male: This could be a potentially good plot, also. I'd love to see both, a male getting raped by a female and a male getting raped by a male. Either way, I'd be intrigued by the storyline. Considering they haven't done rape since Darcy and it's never been a male, I bet their viewer rating might go higher. In any case, I'd love it to be someone no one would expect. Like for instance, Wesley, Dave, KC, etc. And I really hope they make the raper a main character, too. Not just the rapey. I don't want another "I don't know who you are!" or "Oh my God you raped me and I hardly know you!~" I want it to be a legitimate storyline that stays around for a while. Not Darcy's "I was raped now I'm going to wallow in despair and frame a teacher for false pedophilia!"

Teenagers getting married: Spinner and Emma weren't teenagers when they got married, though they were close to it. In any case, I kind of hope KC and Jenna get back together and "marry" before the baby's born, if that's possible. It could be rushed, but I still think it would cause a lot of stress and problems for the two AND Kyle, Jenna's older brother. However, I wonder if the marriage would last long...

Porn Addiction: I honestly think either Connor, Drew or Riley would fit this plot best. For Connor, he's on the computer all the time and doesn't have a girlfriend, so of course he'd be curious. For Drew, he just needs a plot. Like. Something that's not center all the time and doesn't annoy me. Oral sex in the boiler room? Give me a break. As for Riley, well. He might get curious about going all the way with Zane (if he hasn't already) one day and want to know the right things to do. And then he'll end up liking it. A lot. XD I don't know, these plots sound insane, but I think one of them would work. I'd honestly love to see this happen to Drew.

A regular character killing another: Sure, JT was murdered by someone from Lakehurst who was friends with Johnny, Bruce and Luke, but. The guy was never a regular character. I really wanted Fitz to hurt Eli and put him in a critical state for a while, but not kill him. I kind of have a hunch that they're going to kill of an LGBT character sooner or later to show how bad discrimination can get (I.E.: Adam's a huge target right now.).

Schizophrenia: I know that Caitlin was diagnosed with epilepsy in DH, but I think this plot line could go a long way, too. Really. One of the major characters should have schizophrenia. For instance, the new guy Chaz or Chase (whatever his name is, I don't know.) could have it but not know it. Therefore, he'd start acting weird for a while. Or maybe even one of the already center characters, like Wesley or something. I don't know.
