I thought her and Jimmy were great in early S2, and you saw a much sweeter side of her - like she'd been hardened by Newport life and lost sight of what was important at the start of S1, but in S2 she realised what was important to her. One of my favourie Julie scenes is early S1 (I can't remember which ep exactly) when Jimmy is watching football reruns and she talks about how she was pregnant with Marissa when the match was played live. There was just something really sweet about it. I think she has a lot of insecurities and it's great how those are mixed with her ruthless bitchiness. |
