Not that it affects me being outside the US (and still waiting for a local airdate for S1) but I hope NBC airs it again before Sept but looking at a calendar Mid September is about 13 weeks away so unless they do double eps or just show a selection of eps they have to start next week, how does that usually work on US network TV?
As for her legs (and who doesn't like talking about Lauren's legs) it might IMO be more instinctual to cross your legs a certain way for some people? I noticed in the clips we got it's also right over left and she's not facing one particular person.
