I don't think that's true because look at Harper, now I don't know what his back story is completely but he was a soldier fighting in the war and Pearl saved him. I assume he probably got shot and Pearl took pity on him and saved him. The wound probably gets healed once the vampire blood gets in you like when Stefan saved Bonnie after Damon bit her.

that's true, Kem. I forgot about that. in my psychology class we actually talked about the same thing AND my teacher actually went into depth about WHY people don't die when they commit suicide certain ways, and the right and wrong ways to actually do them.

I had something similar to that in Health Psych while in my Abnormal Psych is when we learned more about motives and who does what.
