Kirsty - The heart threw me off too

The books are okay - well the first one is amazing - but I only really read the books for the Richard, Kahlan and Cara moments. The OT3 also get some great scenes together and the beginning of the sixth one because it's mainly focused on them for that time.
I will say that the books are more for HBO type show viewing than anything anything they could really get away with on the show. Also to show differs from the books in quite a lot of ways.
Kahlan are Cara get their awesome kick-ass friendship though, especially in the fouth and sixth books
