Exactly. Who would've found weird that she found a way to cut off her hair during those 3 years? She would be stuck with the wig in the ALT scenes, at least spared that on island.
BTW they created a booblehead doll for her character, and not only they included Squirrel Baby in the figurine, but they finally gave Claire a haircut. Lol
