Okay first, surely they are going to change this title because really?!
Ha! The Alicia/Kalinda conversation is adorable. It is a little weird seeing Kalinda endorse A/W like that but not exactly surprising. I'm not surprised she sees whatever Alicia wants as the thing for her to do, no judgment. She seems to be Team Alicia all the way. I like seeing Alicia actually asking Kalinda a personal question considering how often they talk about Alicia's private life. Though Alicia- um Will kissed you sweetheart. Saying he's not into you is going beyond adorably dense to WTH girl.
Hmm at Alicia just got promoted. Promoted to first chair on a big case maybe? Promoted to a different position in the firm? She's obviously still working on a case well after Cary has been fired and left the firm.
In the A/C convo, Cary seems really angry and a lot more vindictive than Alicia. That could just be personality differences but I'm thinking it's more than that. First, he seems to really believe now that she is sleeping with Will. Like it's a lot more than a rumor, it's something he knows and his opinion of Alicia seems to have really changed. Second, he appears to be getting escorted out of the firm while Alicia not just isn't but is still on a case after her convo with Cary. Third, Alicia is way too nice in this convo. I know nice is not really surprising from her but she doesn't sound upset, she's conciliatory (if it makes you feel better you can think that), there isn't the commiserating I would expect from two people who both just got fired. She's just nice while Cary is straight up nasty. Neither of them may have gotten the job but I don't think Alicia got fired.
It could be the same Sweeney. This one is a man. It also fits to be the same guy if the hybris... is about a fan of his. He's famous, charismatic, and dangerous. I can also see Alicia going to see him alone considering their interactions in Bad. If it is the same one, maybe it's a potential reason for the weirdness regarding the firings? He could have requested Alicia on his case and she's fired, but not until after this case is over while Cary is just gone.
So Childs is going after Cary now. That would actually be an interesting place for Cary to be for a while- the SA's office. And considering how unfriendly he's feeling right now towards Alicia there's no telling what he could feed Childs.
I have the distinct feeling Elsbeth is going to get on my nerves.
So Kozko is in the wind. I wonder what the grounds are that they are dismissing Peter's retrial on? It seems a little too pat. I guess this means next year's focus will be on the federal investigation, whatever that is.
