1- middle of scene- Eli says the only problem is he has one Achilles heel, you. Alicia says she’s not doing interviews, she’s not doing photos. Eli says he knows, he’s not asking her to, Peter has had a sudden and quite intense epiphany, he wants to know that she’s on board. Alicia inhales deeply, stands. Alicia says she’s not his mother, and she won’t be put in the position of being his mother. Eli says he thinks Peter’s under the impression she’s his wife, and that she should be involved in his decision. Alicia’s phone rings. Alicia says she doesn’t want to be involved, would he please excuse her and answers the phone hello, who?

2- reception- Courtney says David Lee, family law, he needs to see her in about a half hour, okay she’ll tell him. Courtney is eating salads with Lisa the receptionist answering calls between gossip. Lisa says Lockhart, Gardner, one second. Courtney pauses seeing an assistant with lunch and Bluetooth leaning awkwardly against the wall under the SLG sign. Courtney asks what Chrissy is up to. Lisa says oh, she doesn’t know? When they put in the sign they put a hole in the wall and if you stand just right you can hear everything going on in the conference room. Courtney gives her a you’re kidding look, Lisa laughs, leans to the glass and knocks to get the assistant’s attention, points toward Courtney give her a turn. Lisa says hey, information is power. Courtney laughs, steps around the glass and finds the right spot. You can hear Will saying then don’t leave. Diane says David we go back a long ways.

3- conference room- David says sarcastically yeah and you’ve always had such admiration for family law, face it he does his thing, they do theirs, only difference is his makes money. Will says it’s a bad economy, that’s all, they’re righting this ship. David stands to leave always pleasant. Scene continues

Somewhere between the last sides I posted and these Max has his accident:
23- middle of scene- Jay says he’s been better, Max talked about Olivia, he thinks he still loved her. Olivia says no he didn’t, don’t try to make her feel better, look at him, he looks so small. A nurse approaches David Lee in the doorway on his cell. Nurse says you can’t use your cellphone in here. David says that’s a myth that it’s affecting the machines, asks where the doctor is. Nurse says Dr. Hanson is with Mrs. Lyons. Alicia looks up and Olivia looks over, appalled.

24- hospital consultation room- CT scans hanging on a lightboard, Shaina and Warren are already there with Dr. Hanson when Olivia, Jay, Alicia and David enter. Dr. Hanson says the helmet protected the frontal and temporal bone but the base of the helmet at the neck snapped back and impacted the cerebellum, there’s a subdural hematoma. Shaina asks what that means. Dr. Hanson says her husband is effectively brain dead, if his heart were to stop it might be better for everyone to just let him go. David says but he’s not dead? Dr. Hanson says excuse me? Shaina says to just ignore them. Olivia says she’s his wife. Shaina says you divorced him. David says no she did not, if there are any decisions to be made they will be made by Mrs. Lyons. Dr. Hanson says he’s confused. Alicia asks what he would suggest. Dr. Hanson says unfortunately they have to discuss organ donation, unless Max had a living will he thinks they need to ask Mrs. Lyons about his wishes. Dr. Hanson looks between Olivia and Shaina, confused. David says Mrs. Lyons?

25- conference room- 12 lawyers, Will joins David, Alicia, Cary. Cary says Shaina has filed a petition for legal guardianship so she can unplug Max. scene continues

30- family court- Warren says they would like to submit that in view of the timing of Max’s accident and the suspicious removal of the last signed page of the divorce agreement that clearly Max’s intention was to be free of his ex-wife. Will objects- he’s at the table with David and Olivia, Cary and Alicia are behind them. Warren says withdrawn, free of the respondent, his client (Shaina) is the person Max had chosen as partner and therefore should be awarded legal guardianship. Will says it is very simple, they’re not even going to get into Shaina’s motives for wanting to unplug Max. Warren objects. Will says happily withdrawn, that like he said it’s not pertinent, nor is the fact that she got him to change his will and leave her everything. Warren objects. Judge Stanek says they see there’s no jury right? All the splendid bombast is going to waste. Will apologizes, says his client is still married to Max and in legal terms wife trumps mistress. Warren says they would like to introduce a new piece of evidence. Warren nods to his second chair in the back of court who opens the door revealing Shaina carrying a one year old. Warren says this is Max Lyons Jr. Alicia spins from the child to Olivia who is stunned. Warren says these are the results of the paternity test. Alicia leans towards Olivia and asks if she’s alright and Olivia just stares at the kid. Judge Stanek says let me see if I can sum this up, the fiancé is over here who also happens to be the mother of Max’s sole offspring. Will interrupts and says they would question the paternity. Judge says please don’t interrupt while he’s on a roll, she wants guardianship so she can withdraw Max’s life support in which case she inherits his fortune. Scene continues
