hello!

i come with a gift...in poetry form.

i said on the last thread that i would try to write a poem about our lovely couple, and tonight it's here!
it's about Luna going to Privet Drive to give Harry a birthday gift. let me know what you think.

"A Birthday Kiss"

My gift today to the birthday boy
Though it may be a big surprise
Is a little kiss upon his cheek
Just a quick peck, then I'd retreat

He'd watch me walk away, I know
And how his mind would wonder so
How one as beautiful as I
Would visit him on Privet Drive

I'd send him sunlight in my kiss
I sense it's something that he's missed
I've watched him, though he doesn't know
I've seen the way he holds sorrow

In my arms he could fly free
I'd show him what happy was meant to be
I'd lead him through a flowered garden
Where a heart could never harden

Then I'd pull away to see
With a smile of surprise
That I could see myself reflected
In those beautiful, big, green eyes
