I think Kalinda is just messing with him like she likes to do and Alicia is playing along with her.

I forgot to post these earlier. Here's the last of the Trade-Off sides:
49- end of scene- mother and Alicia- Mother says please, Alicia has the key to her apt. There are a few sentimental items. Alicia says of course, she'll bring them. Mother says to please tell Anil it's not his fault. A guard leads her away and Alicia stares at the door.

50- Indian market- Merchant says he doesn't handle these. Kalinda has a picture of gems. Kalinda says see they look like they were mounted on a necklace or something. Merchant says her best bet with jewelry is not the market. Kalinda says thank you. Merchant says the box is another matter. Kalinda asks if recognizes it. Merchant says it's sold here in the market. Kalinda asks where.

51- Alicia goes into mother's apt. Starts getting the sentimental items. She opens a drawer and opens a jewelry box. Inside is a sapphire necklace like the kind Kalinda found.

52- Kalinda moves through the market on her phone. She says can you hear me Cary? She needs him to bring it to her.

53- Cary's car, he's driving- He says what the gems? Kalinda says no the box. Cary looks at it on the dash. Cary says alright but he's driving in circles. Little India is a nightmare. Kalinda says she'll e-mail him directions. Cary says hold on, that's his other line.

54- Alicia exiting mother's apt on her phone- Alicia says hey Cary, asks if he's with Kalinda. Cary says no but he's looking for her. Asks why Diane gave the case to her instead of him. The nav screen lights up with directions, Cary says he's got Kalinda, asks what she needs. Alicia says to tell her she thinks mother is involved. She thinks she took the sapphires from the buyers to Anil's work. She found the same jewels in her apt. Cary says he'll tell her.

55- Indian market- Kalinda and Cary- shopkeeper is speaking Hindi. Cary asks Kalinda what he said. She says she doesn't know, she doesn't speak Hindi. Cary asks what she means she doesn't speak Hindi. Kalinda says she didn't grow up in India, asks the shopkeeper if he speaks English. He continues in Hindi. Cary says seriously Kalinda, where's your cultural identity? Kalinda frowns at him, says she's looking for a box like this. Shopkeeper points to a shelf. Cary says he doesn't think mother is involved. Kalinda asks if he just got a hunch. Cary says no better and points to a picture of Frida in a row of Employee of the Month photos.

56- Will's office- Will is sitting at his desk staring straight ahead. Diane says so you're back? Will says he's back. Diane asks if Hansel and Gretel got off. Will says he doesn't know, he recused himself. Diane laughs, says he recused himself from the prosecution of Hansel and Gretel? What were you dating Gretel? Will says for a few weeks, a bad time. Diane laughs as Will looks towards the conference room at a meeting there. Will lingers over Alicia. Will asks what that is. Diane says it's a personal case, immigration, she's letting them run with it. Will's assistant knocks on the door, says Giada is there to see him. Will looks up surprised, Diane notices. Diane asks if it's a long lost love. Will says no a student, this should be interesting, send her in. scene continues
