One article said that they were filming the new pilot scenes before Thanksgiving and then, after a short Thanksgiving break, getting right back to work on the next few episodes before the Christmas break. That's what I remember reading. That's why the timing of this confuses me.
Also, I remembered reading that they were starting filming of the movie in December, but didn't remember it being at the beginning of the month. Thanks for clearing that up, Katka.
