Yes obviously it has hard when you've been in the bottom two and had lots of criticism, but Rachel came back fighting every week, and John And Edward have dealt with tons of criticism, but they still come out smiling and give it everything. Danyl needs to pull himself together and fight for his place if he wants to stay.

I completely agree with this. You were in the bottom two, boo hoo, pull yourself together and fight rather than whinging about how hard it all is.
Danyl says he's a fan of Jedward and wants people to lay off them, he should look to them for how to deal with negativity, because they've had negativity thrown at them from the start but they come out fighting every week and just get on with it. If Danyl did that and tried to show he was worthy of his place in the competition people might warm to him more. But as it is, as you say, he's just giving people more reason to dislike him.
