It's funny, because even in that movie, the DvF dresses are pinned between her breast. It was the already case with most of her DvF dresses and wrap tops in Gilmore Girls (and sometimes you can see the safety pin on stills). I'm even pretty sure that the "Partings" dress was sewed.
