Gremlins 3 - A new Gremlins movie might be in the works. There have been rumblings. Original director(and of part 2), Joe Dante, says he has heard a new film is in the works, but that he will not be a part of it. If anything, it will either be a straight remake or some kind of "re-boot", probably using CGI gremlins, which Dante hates and will not take part of. The original film's writer, director Chris Columbus(who also wrote "The Goonies"), feels the same way. CGI gremlins wouldn't be the same. They should be puppets, and this is a project he doesn't think he would be, or would want to be, a part of. |
