Ethan raised a brow when Sebastian cited his wound as product of a personal vendetta. If Ethan had been stabbed for every enemy he had aquired over the years he'd be rotting beneath the ground. Tess told her brother to stop talking and moving so much; the demand in her voice was a sexy showing of strength. Ethan felt his lips curl into a smile when his friend stated she was the best screw he would ever have. Tess was his leading lady in bed, no question about it. “Mhmm,” he crooned with approval before Tess’ agitation towards Sebastian’s condition resurfaced. Revenge was plaguing the fiery blonde’s mind full force. Despite her sibling’s warning about safety, the hatred in Tess Valmont’s eyes burned fresh. She had every intention of killing the enemy who had struck here tonight. It was a different experience for Ethan to witness Tess’ loving streak towards her family. He had always known her to be a loyal woman, minus their casual affair, but the determination she had as she cared for her brother was damn appealing. Ethan had never felt anything close for his brother. Evan was a selfish prick and shared genes couldn’t fix that affliction.

Tess had even come to the realization that she was better off divorcing his sorry ass. It only took him cheating on her repeatedly and impregnating another woman before she saw the light. Ethan couldn’t blame her for trying to ride the storm out. He had tested the love factor with Chloe years ago and that too had ended with disastrous consequences. Ethan had learned the hard way that committing to one person entirely only ended in hurt. Sex was all he could count on. Tess understood that part of him, lending to their explosive dynamic in the bedroom. There was no snuggling or whispered promises, and Ethan intended to keep it that way. It was the reason he hadn’t seen Chloe since his return to Port Charles. When he had left she’d opened up to him about her abusive husband and he felt himself softening around the edges. He refused to be domesticated so he kept his distance. Ethan refocused on Tess and her brother when Sebastian compared his nephews abandonment to Tess’ with their father. Clearly, this was not a story Ethan had ever heard. His confusion was evident but he didn’t press the matter. Tess could tell him if she felt the need and if not, it was her own damn business. “The blood’s clotting, but infection could kill a guy,” Ethan stressed. “You got a Patch Adams or something’ in this fun house?”

Malick hadn’t even moved since firing his gun into Ridley’s flesh. She was limping away and to chase after her now would end the cat and mouse game entirely too fast. He wanted to watch her panic and beg for mercy; to think she had a chance before he struck again! The older woman was slumped against a fallen dresser, clearly presenting no real threat. She was moaning lightly under her breath but hadn’t come to just yet. Malick was content leaving her be to hunt Ridley, but when he saw the fear in his young victim’s eyes for the unknown female he had second thoughts. Using a loved one as leverage always proved successful. Natalie had walked right into his trap at the mention of her precious curly haired Caroline. Malick would have killed her too if it weren’t for that boy, but no matter. Ridley made a satisfying consolation prize. “Getting shot isn’t fun, is it?” he sneered in her direction as his eyes went to the blood dripping down his own injured arm. Inflicting the same pain on someone else made the pain bearable. Staring at him with Bambi-like eyes, Ridley asked Malick why he was doing this to her. “Neglected as a child,” he responded with a disappointed shake of his head. “Y’know, it’s true that it all starts in the family.” Malick had murdered his parents the night after his fifteenth birthday and never looked back. Killing was in his blood. Turning away from his current damsel in distress, Malick began taking slow steps towards his other victim. He froze when Ridley begged for him to spare the fallen woman. She would do anything he asked in return.

A smirk overtook his face as Malick slammed his boot into the unconscious brunette’s ribs, hearing Ridley scream in protest. Again, she repeated he could do anything to her. “Careful what you wish for,” he warned before lunging towards Ridley and slamming her small frame hard against the wall. He locked the door to the room after he’d distracted her and pressed his gun against her cheek, slowly sliding it down her neck. “Stupid girl….” Malick pulled the gun back and smacked Ridley hard in the head, dizzying her into his arms. He ran his hand down her cheek before dropping her limp form onto a nearby bed. “Time to make good on your promise, sweetheart.” Malick held her wrists down above her head and touched his mouth to hers, his tongue freely roaming her mouth. His hands released her wrists in the moment and he peeled back the straps of her dress and kissed her neck. She began to regain her focus from the blow to her head and her eyes widened in fear. “If you fight me…I will kill her,” he replied casually. Ridley bit her bottom lip to hold back a sob but remained still. Malick grinned with pride and touched his hands to her body, sliding them up and down. “Now lets see what you look like under that pretty little dress of yours…”

Reese blinked her eyes open slowly, waiting for her clouded vision to clear. Her side was throbbing and she had to fight to remember why she was laying on the cool marble floor. Visions of a vicious man attacking her surfaced and Reese made out a cold, calculating voice in the distance. She shifted quietly to see the man perched over a crying Ridley. The pair were on a bed and disgust filled Reese’s every being when she realized Malick was unzipping Ridley’s dress. Why wasn’t she fighting back? Reese allowed her anger to consume her, giving her the strength she needed to stand unnoticed behind their hunter. She carefully grabbed his gun from the end of the bed, a stupid move on his perverted part, and pulled the trigger just as he reached to take off his jeans. “Get your filthy hands off of her,” Reese demanded before firing another shot. Malick slumped forward on top of Ridley and Reese held her breath. Suddenly, she heard a choking sound and realized Malick was attempting to strangle Ridley. “I said get off of her you prick!” Reese began pulling him backwards and away from Ridley but before she knew it he’d slapped her to the ground and taken her gun. “Say goodnight,” Malick requested as he loomed above her, pinning her down. She heard the click of his gun and closed her eyes, waiting to die.
