If they did do it on HBO or Showtime then it'd be great probably regardless, QAF was a fantastic adaptation, and most of thier original programming is great also, but if they tried to push it on a network like The N then it'll suck. However this is my bias as a dedicated Degrassi viewer, god knows look at how they butchered that series over the years. Same with the Cw, I just can't picture it being on those stations. However I think either way it'll be great, as long as it's not like 90210 or any of the other lame generic wannabe soaps we have over here.
A Skins movie and novel? I'm also a little bit edgy about. I dunno Skins is awesome, but a long movie, depending on the plotline for me could go either way. I'm excited and anxious. I also heard they were doing a novel.
P.S. If anyone gets any news of casting auditions for the US version, can they please PM me ASAP or post them. Aspiring Actor and I'd love to star in anything Skins related. |
