Maybe they'll get the first book in. | I think they'll follow the first book, like they'll have SE get together the same way, and take the mythology from all the books, but after that they'll do their own thing. I don't think they'll follow the same "action" plotline as the books (which is really not that great IMHO), and as for the relationship plotline I think they'll get SE together at the beginning, but while in the books they never break up, in a tv show that's really not realistic.
I also think they'll have DE meet a lot sooner... in the books they meet at the end of book 1, after SE are already together. But I think Elena will already know Damon when she gets together with Stefan. We know they don't really meet in the pilot, but I think in episode 2-3 they'll have a conversation at least. |
