Why is it so hard for parents to hold onto their kids at the gym 'til they get to the day care room? I mean, if the kid's around 8-10 and can follow the parents just fine and stay away from the machines, then there's no problem. But when kids around 2-3 wander over to me when I'm lifting heavy weights (and the parents are continuing towards the day care room), it just makes me very uncomfortable 'cause if they're quicker than I can see I could crush their hands under weights or something.
