Ethan checked to make sure his shirt was tight enough against Sebastian's torso before glancing up to see Tess watching him with appreciation. "I ain't no Doctor Quinn, so don't go getting too excited," he warned. Ethan didn't want to be blamed if his makeshift bandage didn't do the trick. He did not need Tess putting her brother's blood on his hands. Ethan saw Tess walk closer to him and he suspected she was going to lift her brother up again, but instead she leaned in and kissed Ethan. Ethan smiled against her lips, not complaining one bit. She tasted the same as he remembered. When she pulled back and thanked him Ethan shrugged it off. Tess promised if her brother survived this night from hell she'd reward with more than a kiss. Ethan shook his head, faking dissapointment in the newest Valmont addition. "Cheat on my 'favorite' brother? I thought you were being a good wifey," he teased.

Ethan had no quelms about re-starting an affair but he wondered what inspired the 180 on his sister-in-law's behalf. She'd seemed pretty damn committed to Evan a few months back. As he waited, Ethan gathered Sebastian back in his arms and lifted, hearing a muffled groan from the injured party. "So you are alive." Ethan hit Sebastian's face hard to snap him out of it completely. "Come on pretty boy, stay awake..." Ethan suddenly remembered he was wasting time targeting Ryan Rosco helping Tess and her brother, but somehow he didn't give a damn. He was part of Tiago's team, yes, but Ethan didn't really work for anyone. Right now it was in his advantage to help Sebastian recover. It would get him an in with the Valmonts and Ethan thrived off gaining power. And though Ethan didn't care for most, Tess meant something to him. She was a good screw but she was also a friend. She had Ethan's back and he owed her.
