But Angel had to go be all selfless  | I think that's one of the most heartbreakingly perfect things about the episode. Within a span of a day you see how much Buffy and Angel love each other, how much they'll always love each other, and why they can't be together. Because despite everything they want, they're both heroes. As much as it hurts seeing that episode and knowing what they could have had, I have no doubt Angel did the right thing. And not just because it's TV and things had to get back to where they started for the shows to go on. It was just the right thing to do. __________________ you have no idea how
