To me, BSG is more than a sci-fi show, it can also be viewed as a commentary on humanity, dealing with various thought-provoking issues.
The combination of great writing, amazing effects, suspenseful, exhilarating and engaging episodes, as well as, excellent acting, directing, wonderful characterisation, and beautiful and atmospheric music, results in a mind-blowingly awesome show to watch. The show has frakked my mind many times, but in a good way. - georgina31
