| Middlesex is about a hermaphrodite that was raised female but actually, the gender leaned more towards male and kind of his journey to awareness. It goes back two generations to talk about the grandparents and parents as they enter into American society and also some incestuous stuff that went on which led to the fifth chromosome problem. It's such a finely rendered book.
I keep hearing I have to get twitter.  I'm still holding off on facebook...so we'll see how long this all lasts.
