When I think about the Lost board, I think of the people I've met on it. Many great friendships were made since I started posting there. Another thing I love about the board is modding it. While it may be a tough job at times, I still love every minute of it. The first thread I believe I posted on when I came here was the Charlie/Claire thread, so I have alot of great memories from there. So here's to 1 million posts, and hopefully millions more to come.

A few years ago the Lost board began as a place where I came to discuss my favorite show. From that time I have found so many friendships that I might not have found otherwise. Now, a million posts later, it's still where I go to discuss what I believe is one of the most brilliant shows of all time with my friends. Thanks to all of the posters that have made the board a success. Happy one million everyone!!

It was because of the Lost board I joined Fan Forum. It feels like I've been here since day one. People on this board are so nice and easy to get along with. I've made some great friends here and hope to continue having so much fun. This quite an addiction, as Lost itself is. It's a daily routine of mine.. first breakfast, then Fan Forum. I Couldn't imagine not being on here! Thanks for making it worth while! Bring on 2 Mil!

One of the parts that I have liked most about joining FanForum and becoming a part of the Lost fan community is all the friendships I have made, not just with people from the United States, but with people from all over the world. There’s no one else in my life that understands my obsession with the show and its characters than the people I have met here. We’ve talked about the show, couples, actors; we’ve had differing perspectives; we’ve had complex discussions; we’ve had inside jokes; we’ve had marathons; we’ve had laughter and tears. From that we made a beginning, and from there it became so much more. I have made lasting friendships here, and not ones that will end when Lost is over, but ones that I will carry with me as I go on with my life after the show is over. Sometimes, I feel like the people I have met here know me better than any of my friends at home even if we are thousands of miles apart. I think Lost has that power to bring the whole world together, to find a common connection among cultures, to cross boundaries, and I witnessed it here. It’s a show that transcends anything we had ever dreamed to be possible, and it’s a gift to share it with all of you. Congratulations on making it to 1,000,000 posts; it’s a testament to how this show has brought us all together and I hope it continues to inspire us in the future.

I love the show first and foremost. I enjoy the characters and their growth. I enjoy the mythology even if the unanswered questions drive me insane . I enjoy speculating on all the possible scenarios and outcomes. Lastly I enjoy the back and forth with other posters.

I haven't been around for too long, but the time I spent here was enough for me to make some amazing friendships. Being the Jater I am, I mostly posted in the Copulators' thread, and this where I met the most lovable group of people ever. It's not about the ship more than it's about the people you get to spend time with, and they all make me so proud I'm a Jater. Besides that, I recently decided to step out, post in other threads so as to discuss the other characters, and get to know more people. It was awesome. In spite of the differences we might have, we still manage to have a nice discussion, and get along somehow. I'm just so glad to be here.

I've had my ups and downs here, but I don't see myself leaving anytime soon. The Lost board is addicting like no other place, I probably couldn't leave even if I wanted to.

I don't know how long I've been posting here but I've been here for years now and I'm still not tired of it. This is the only Lost forum I've managed to stick with. The discussions here are very interesting and everyone here is so unique and so very invested and passionate about this show. It doesn't even really surprise me that we've reached 1,000 000 already.
I hope we'll all still be here for the next celebration & for the last season and after that!
