I'm Asian and have experienced racism first hand but I don't think it applies in all cases. Clearly anyone would've been fired immediately. Beyond the slur he attacked PD. His employers could've called security or the police to escort him out.
It's horrible to raise that topic for one's own narcissism. It also unleashed plenty of extremists who turned the conversation ugly. Frankly many do act out and I could never have on my conscience bringing harm to another.
Honestly people can forgive if he takes responsibility rather than keep shifting the blame. At one point he even said he wouldn't have gotten mad if EP wasn't late to the set.
