I know its difficult and I don't think any of us will ever understand the lack of LH in S6 and why we had no proper scene in Chad's final episode. I don't think Mark can offer any plausible excuse anyways. However, I refuse to let it affect negatively on LH and what I think of them. These two are bonded for life, because of their past, because they will always be BFF's, because they are family. Nothing will change that. So I'll always be bitter we didn't get a scene on screen, but off screen I know there is no need for goodbye because they will always be a part of each others life.
