Sorry you were in pain the whole time. At least the hangover came after a great night out. 
Hopefully the ear problem will go away soon.  My dad recently went through an ear infection and he spent two awful nights because of it. | Turns out it's not an ear infection. I actually have a perforated eardrum. I stuck a Q-tip hair pin too far in my ear and ruptured the membrane. I have another appointment tomorrow to examine it further.
