| The "teen" refers to the voters, not the nominees. It just so happens that he's in a category in which all other nominees play teenagers, but if you look at others, Steve Carrell, Charlie Sheen, Matthew Fox and Josh Holloway of Lost are also nominated.
I'd take an Emmy nom over this one too, but if nothing else this is an important demographic for studio heads. The fact that he's still popular among them is not necessarily a bad thing. |
