| Sorry I'm late! Our internet went out last night, and I just got it back.
First off, eeeeee! OMG. The amazingness of the opening is beyond... beyond anything that... It is so freaking gorgeous. The layout, the moments, the whole concept, and what you guys captured, the coloring, the... GORGEOUS. The art, the poem, the icons! Phenomenal. I just, I want to give a huge, huge, huge thank you to Caroline, Shanna, Sam, Jo, and anyone and everyone else who participated in the making of this thread in any way. You've outdone yourselves.
I... I firmly believe this is the best board ever. Ever. I love it. I love the openness, I love the inclusiveness, I love the helpfulness, the kindness bestowed on people we're close to, and people we're just starting to get to know.
It's that environment, that was started when Caroline and Maz, and even before they were mods, that makes this board so great. It's that environment that I inherited, and it's that environment that I hope lives on for another five years at least. The spirit of kindness, openness, and joy.
Also, I couldn't mark another milestone on this board without... Not to embarass her, as far as the board, it's success, my success as a mod, part of that... I just have to thank Caroline so much, who has been in my corner from the start. If there's something I don't know, she's there. If there's something I need help with, she's there. She doesn't let me forget a date. LMFAO. She'll remind me of... She reads all of the threads as often as I do, and because we're on different time zones, it won't be surprising, if I get a PM from her, all... I know you're sleeping, but! LMFAO. And, she'll chime in, like, make sure you check, we got spammed, or there's a personal picture posted in... Kind of like a, here's what you missed while you were sleeping report checklist. LMFAO. She's just got my back in the biggest way. But, that's just the tip of the iceberg. How many ideas for the board does poor girl have to hear me bounce off of her? LMFAO. How many ideas does she come up with and bounce of me? It never amazes. She has never wanted nothing but the best for this board, she's given time, resources, money, ideas, and she continues to support me, and my efforts so much. I just, on a huge day like today, I had to make sure she knows, that doesn't go unnoticed. Not hardly. Not kind of.
To everyone who posts on this board, you all are amazing, beyond amazing. I've come to love and respect different things about all of you. Everyone is so unique in their personalities, but one thread carries through. How sweet, helpful, and supportive you all have been of me, this board, etc. For the most part, I think I could go to any of you, ask a huge favor for the board, for myself, and I think you'd make it happen, no questions asked. Wanting nothing in return, but just for the board to be successful, or to help me. End. I, you guys will never know how appreciative I am to have you as friends and as posters on this board. You make this board what it is. So many of you doing things everyday to enhance the board, tweak things, update things, etc. It doesn't go unnoticed, either, even if it's not always commented on. It's why this board has been so successful for the past five years, and why it can and will be for the next five.
Thanks to everyone who has popped in and stopped by. We love that you're celebrating this milestone with all of us over here on BJ's Board!
