appreciation thread

M.A.G.I.C is Meredith, Alex, George, Izzie and Christina.

I realised that we don't have a thread like this.. so it was about time we got one!
What we could do for this thread, name our fav Derek moment with each seperate character, like Izzie, Alex, George and Cristina.
Of course a reasons list should be made too.. all in all plenty of stuff to do guys and any help is welcome!

Cristina: Compassion?
Derek: "Yes, compassion, It's an emotion. Have you ever heard of it?"
Cristina: "Have you? She's barely back on her feet and you've got her calling you McDreamy again. You know, I was just telling the patient the truth. You might want to try it sometime."

Cristina: Apparently they went backpacking around Europe together or something. Before med school. You know that woman all but kicked me out of the bed?
Derek: Terrible.
Cristina: And "deth" ... Meredith's name's not "deth." It's Mer!
Derek: I really feel for you.
Cristina: I mean she's never even mentioned this woman. How good a friend could she be?
Derek: Good enough to kick us both out of bed.
[Derek and Cristina look at each other]
Derek: Welcome to my world

Derek: Ah, Cristina. Did you tell her about the ring?
Cristina: Uh, I don't wanna talk about your stupid ring.
Derek: Good. Don't.
Cristina: Oh, you're not gonna do a bit thing are you? Like some big, romantic, McDreamy thing. 'Cause she'd hate that.

Derek: She's in the car, she's in the car and she won't stop crying.
Cristina: Did you propose?
Derek: No. She went to William's execution.

Derek: Look, you screwed up. Mr. Martin's fried. He wakes up, you fried his brain. He dies, you killed him. Deal with it.

Alex: Just try keeping her frontal lobe inside her skull this time.

Alex: What if it was Meredith? What would you do if you had to choose between spending a few more months with Meredith knowing she was gonna die. Watching her... watching her sick. Or spending the rest of your life with someone who looked like Meredith, but wasn't her anymore? (Der looks at him saddened, thinking about it) She is the one good thing that happened to me. The one good thing. So I need to know what to do. I need you to tell me, what if it was Meredith.
Derek: I would ask her to have the surgery.
