| YAY! I knew we could count on Mary. Thanks for bringing that over, bearlee!
Some random tidbits about Josh from Monday: Josh - he's their go-to guy Quote:
Of late, you might say that Joshua Jackson has been doing nothing but phone-ing it in.
The actor, in town this week shilling for Rogers, put his mobile where his mouth is when it came to his middle-of-the-street enthusiasm for the new HTC Magic and Dream smartphone. Think: Jackson, on the University of Toronto campus. Think: she, an Irish exchange student, on the same campus. Think: them, in a deep, wonderful connection. (No, not that sort. Jackson does, after all, have a lovely Helen of Troy back at home: girlfriend Diane Kruger!) But, something deeper … more, how do you put it?, Google-able.
During a media-friendly tic-tac-toe around town on Monday — all in the name of Rogers — Jackson, we hear, was spotted by said Irish exchange student (and 11 of the Irish exchange student’s exchange student best friends!). Talking to him, they explained that they were lost and at a loss on how to get to their work placement office. At which point, the Canadian actor behind The Fringe, dug into his HTC Magic and, applying the Android software, located the office and even plotted out a detailed a how-to-get-there-from-here.
Phew! How fortunate! Irish eyes were smiling, one might be tempted to say. Even though, for what it’s worth, the young buck — shirt casually untucked under his schoolboyish sweater — traded in Irish for Japanese when it came to the day’s lunch. Sources tell us Jackson got his celebrity spokesperson strength by fortifying himself with tasty things at Nami, on Adelaide.
