| The Rules & Introduction Thread #3: Welcome to the Board!
Hey FF posters.  Welcome to the O.C. board! We, the O.C. Mods ( Naomi and Martha), hope you enjoy posting here. 
Please have a read through the rules and regulations of the board. They should be abided by in addition to the Official FanForum Rules.
1) Character shipper threads -
Character/Character threads are designed to be in specific reference to that couple. Although we do realise that at times it may be necessary to have discussion about the actors’ portrayal of the character and the actors’ chemistry. This being said, we are allowing you to talk about the actors that portray the couple in the character/character thread. Although we expect that the thread will not be completely about the actors without any relevance to the characters at all.
2) Anti/Unappreciation Threads -
As a result of some problems due to the misuse of anti threads, we have chosen to close all anti threads indefinitely. As such, we ask that you please do not start any new unappreciation threads, if one is opened, it will be closed.
3) Thread Discussions -
There shouldn't be discussion of actors/actresses/characters/couples in threads that aren't meant for them.
Examples of this would be: Discussing Ben's life in the Marrisa Cooper thread, or discussing Mischa Barton in the Rachel Bilson thread or Adam Brody in the Mischa Barton thread.. Please keep this one in mind in paticular.
4) Bashing -
There is to be absolutely NO bashing on this board whatsoever! This goes for bashing against actors, FF members, anyone. And lurking in threads you do not support the character or ships of and then going back into the ones you do, and talking about what was said is also NOT allowed on this board. It just causes more problems. Please also remember to keep discussions about other characters in shipper threads civil (it's not acceptable to say how horrible X girl is with Y guy in an YZ shipper thread.) As actors on this show are also single, please keep discussion of their love lives respectful.
If you are having a problem with another poster please contact one of the moderators to explain the problem. Please keep all issues off of the board and contact the poster if you feel the need to via PM. Fanforums has went back to allowing any member of Fanforums to PM no matter how many posts they have unlike before.
5) Avatars and Signature -
Avatars and signatures bashing OC actors, or FF members are not allowed. Remember if you are looking to put something controversial in your signature, think about how you would react if it was aimed at a character/actor you liked.
Signatures are not to exceed five lines of text. Spaces in between lines DO count. You are allowed to have multiple font sizes and fonts in your signature, but the largest font size is Size 3, you are also allowed to bold your signature. No more than four smilies in your signature. Please also double check to make sure your signature lines are appropriate as well, this forum is PG-13 and signatures should reflect this. Signature blocks should be no taller than a 100 X 100 avatar.
6) - Stay On Topic:
There is to be no "chatty/star" posting on this board. This is also in the general FF rules. If you feel you have nothing constructive or relevant to add to the thread, then don’t post until you do. That being said a few posts here and there is allowed, but please don't fill up pages with off topic conversation.
7) - Quoting Pictures:
The quoting of pictures is not allowed, it makes pages to slow to load. You are also asked not to post large masses of pictures, if you wish to post a lot, put them in as links.
8) - Download Links:
Links to uploading sites, such as YouSendIt, with copies of a recently aired episode or any songs, are not allowed in this board, or FanForum at all, as it is against copyright laws. Small clips uploaded to a site such as YouSendIt or MegaUpload are acceptable, but links to the entire episode are not.
These friendly reminders are meant for no one in particular, we are just trying to better the board and keep it at a steady growing pace, so that people of all fan bases feel welcomed.
