| I can`t believe what happened so far today with Rafa.  It`s still so shocking that he actually lost at Roland Garros and to Robin Soderling of all people. I don`t know what else to say other now things are very wide open on the men`s side. Andy Murray and Fernando Gonzalez won their matches in straight sets.
Rafa wasn`t the only champion to be dethroned today as Victoria Azarenka ended Ana`s reign as ladies` champion with a 6-3, 6-2 win. Vika played a nice solid match right from the start, while Ana was a mess out there. I`m very disappointed with how lackluster her play was today.  Next up for Vika will be Dinara Safina, who crushed hometown favorite Aravane Rezai 6-1, 6-0.
So that`s the story on what has been a very stunning day at Roland Garros so far. |
