i think that he's the character where who he's in love with is so obvious and transparent not only because of what he did and said but because we got the chance to see inside his soul... and this isn't common And we saw that she was always there inside him
Her image was the first thing that people could see inside his mind and sometimes the only one (example Clayton)
also the concreteness of this "detail" made his professions of love even more real
when he said "you mean everything to me" or "you're what kept me alive" he really meant it, you got the proof the what he said was exactly the way he felt and she is everything. I love it
only roswell could do something like that.

of course even roswell fans can be in denial and delusional enough to pretend that the story doesn't exist LOL
and i think that if even some roswell fans are like that with all the evidence they got.. well it figures what happens with new tv-shows where who is in love with is like a quiz with many answers.

and it's good that in the end he got what he really wanted and his happy end along with her

no one forced her to destroy her life like that.
it's one of the reasons of why i never felt pity for her.
She knew what she was doing. She knew that Max didn't love her but Liz. She knew that he was unhappy and she had to force him with her dirty tricks because he didn't want to leave his real home*. she saw Liz inside him. she not only saw his love for her from the outside, from the way he looked and the way he talked about Liz. She also saw it inside him. what she wanted more? what she wanted?
next time tell the antarians to give you the power to make people love you! (it would be pathetic but seeing how weird her conception of "love" is it wouldn't surprise me that maybe she would have loved this kind of pathetic power, if that was possible)

i also think that Liz was good with both Isabel and Michael
She didn't try to force herself, she didn't start wars, she didn't resent them. She knew that it wasn't a game. I think that Liz understood why, at the beginning, they weren't so friendly with her and the other humans.
she cared more about making them understand that she cared about them and she really loved Max then to start arguments with them because they weren't friendly. and this, i think, made the difference.

anyway it's funny how Isabel seemed annoyed by M&L and M&M "flirting" in the first season but then in the third season she was worse than them when she was with Jesse! in fact she didn't whine anymore about them
i guess that people have to experience things in order to understand them

anyway we can say that deep down Isabel was a dreamer too

leaving normal is one of my fav dreamer scenes.
i love how they tried to stay away but they couldn't. Liz called him, she knew that it was "against the rules" but she needed *him*. And he went to her, no matter what. in the end when her grandmama died he was there for her and he comforted her without words needed. He was just there.
She cried only in his arms just like he cried only in hers.

Max in the city is such a subtle dreamer episode
above all Max was angry with Liz in that moment, he was so hurt. But still she was the only voice he listened to
and i'm not talking only about the scene when she saved him.
He listened to her advice about the granolith too.
That was the reason of why he didn't fall in Nicholas' trap and said "no". she saved him twice.
he remembered what she had told him and he couldn't stop to think about it and what she meant. Eventually he trusted her even without knowing the truth and why she had told him that.
Also Liz, from Roswell, was able to connect to him when his sister couldn't. She was the only one able to do it. A human he healed and loved.
She connected to him and she saved his life.
Liz from roswell was *there* with him and concretely *helped* him more than the people that were physically there with him. Very telling.
The episode proved again what an amazing bond they share. The can be in two different cities and they're still connected to each other.
Just like in third season Liz was in Vermont and felt it when Max died.

Some people always whine about the other characters saying that they didn't welcome Tess so much. The problem is that they totally forget that the way she introduced herself wasn't so friendly nor it can be acceptable for every social group. She manipulated them. She lied. She used her powers on them.

I love that Max had Tess with him in NY, but it was Liz across the country in Roswell that managed to save his life. Their connection.

you know i like Ava the dupe, i mean she was ok i don't have a complete opinion of her because we didn't see her so much. But both her and Tess were so stupid and useless. I mean, they killed Zan in front of Ava's eyes and she did nothing in order to stop them and save him (i have to say that the way he died was pretty stupid itself. I mean, he died for a ball. An alien died while he was following a ball!). and then after it she still was with Lonnie and Rath! The same happened with Tess. They almost killed Max in front of her eyes and she did nothing. He had to "save" her (i don't think that she was in danger. I'm convinced that the whole "sitting in Buddha's position" was a show. Nicholas didn't kill her for the same reason she "casually" didn't kill him in the other episode: like she said in departure they weren't enemies. So he needed her.) . Liz, a human woman, from ROSWELL connected to him and saved him while Tess, the alien, who was there with him did nothing. Not to mention that everything she did the whole time was kissing Max's ass she wasn't even able to give him a honest and useful advice. (nothing new. i don't remember a single scene where she really helped him with an advice)
