| ohhhh, I have never had ramen. Quote: |
According to my dad, goat meat is really chewy. I've never tried it.
| Chewy? Nevermind then.
Oh chewy- like Chewbacca cold pizza. I don't really like waffles. Much prefer pancakes. Maria, I looked up the recipe and will make it sometime
I saw Angels and Demons today:
I'm not going to lie. I liked it. LOL Well up until the end that is.... read spoilers below if you wish.
I liked the against the clock mystery. I thought it was a good suspenseful, popcorn summer movie.
Ewan was thee best part.
Some parts were so gross though. Like Spoiler:
the rats eating the dead body. UGH I had to turn away. And when Vittoria tries to do CPR and the lung is punctured so the blood splatters in Langdon's face. Yuck.
Ewan was basically the only reason I saw this movie in the first place and his performance was the best. I was totally on his side and then to find out he was the man behind it all - shocked me! I even said out loud "NOOOO!"
I was not amused to find out he was the bad guy all along. I was so fooled. Ewan you got me!
The end doesn't count. To me he was still the brave savior who took the anti-matter into the helicopter to save the innocent lives.
OMG when Ewan's character was burning at the end I turned to my sister and said, "like Anakin!" that is some weird kharma right there. Like in Jumper when Mace Windu(Sam Jackson) gets his revenged on Anakin(Hayden Christensen) LOL.
And THEN - then the new pope names himself Luke. And immediately said out loud, "Skywalker."
hehe.
And I know it was all fake because Vatican City didn't give them permission to film. Ewan even said all his scenes were done in an LA studio. But Rome is so beautiful and I can't wait to go back. There were times where we said out loud, "We were there!"
Of course (and it has been said before) it was so silly that a professor of symbols at Harvard didn't know Latin. And of course Galileo wouldn't be writing in modern English.

So yes the story is flawed, clichéd and feels like fanfic like but I was still entertained. |
