I am glad about it also. It helps hopefully everyone to understand him better.
It is late to write to this episode but I was only to day able to see it. Here are my thoughts for all who are still interested in it.

OH MY GOD! I love all the brother love scenes in this one. The B-Story was so gross and when the guy was eating it was so gross and all...ewwww.

I have read all of the comments and I can understand that so much of you feel sorry for Dean and I am, too, of course, but for me it shows how much Sam has suffered in the last four months. I will be always a Samgirl and I am on his side in this one.

I agree with the person you wrote that the psychic power isn´t only a bad thing. I can´t understand why the angels and God are so against it. Because of it, more innocent people survive. So I can´t see why Sam has to stop it. Yes it is a dangerous road and maybe I could turn Sam evil but when Dean would be around to look after him - I can see that it maybe would work.

In the hotelscene Sam was so shocked when Dean told him that God was against it. And yes Dean was angry because Sam was lying to him and I can understand him and maybe the punches were deserved but I have a problem with Dean´s leaving wish.
Dean went to hell for Sam but loosing Dean was hell for Sam, too. And Dean couldn´t stand living a day without him and brought him back. Sam had four months without Dean. He was so lost and hit rock bottom after Dean went to hell. He was and is still feeling guilty for not saving his brother and the hunting was the only thing that kept him alive, I believe. But with no Dean on his side he had to find a way to make it work without him. And with saving so many innocent people his life became meaningful again. And you can´t tell me that if Dean was in Sam place that he wouldn´t go after Lilith after everything that happened.
And now Deans comes back and criticize everything Sam has done in these four months without talking to him why he did it. He wants to leave him again and let this evilRuby play her game with him. It looks like he gave up on him at least from Sam POV. I know that it couldn´t be more far way from the truth but for Sam it must have look like this and it really hurts him badly.

And I can understand Sam in the car fighting scene. It almost broke my heart. I know that Dean doesn´t do it on purpose but sometimes he looks or talk to him like he want to say I am freaked out what you have become or what you will become. And Dean is not right when he denies it. Dean tries really hard to hide these thought or sorrow but he doesn´t always succeed. And now imaging Deans reaction if Sam tells him that he has Demonblood in him. Sam was so scared that his brother would look at him in this before mentioned way that he didn´t tell him. He is scared to loose his brother good opinion of him and that he will love him less then before. His father abandon him when he wasn´t the way he wanted him to be and so he is scared to lose the only family member he has left and you he loves with all of his heart.

It is as if Dean is complaining about Sam moving on. It was the only way which worked for him to get over Dean and that he couldn´t save him no matter what he tried or with who he handle about it.

Don´t get me wrong I don´t blame Dean that he is scared of what Sam might be become but why would he left him, when he is so scared of him. Fortunately he decided to stay and after the car fight I hope that he understands Sams POV a little better.

I like to compare these two with Frodo and Samwise from Lord of the rings. With Frodo beeing Sam and Samwise beeing Dean. Frodo couldn´t make it without Samwise and he knows it and so does Sam. And Samwise was always there for Frodo except the one time he thought he was dead and left him. And look what becomes of Frodo when Samwise left him and he is under the impression of Gollum which would be Ruby. He memorize what Gandalf told him that he should never leave Frodo and when he realise it and went after him it turns out ok. So Deans part in this is to love his brother no matter what and help him to stay human and making him less feeling like a monster.

And exactly that was missing when he tried to leave him in the hotelroom and when he talked to him in the car the way he did it.

Their last scene in the car when he tries to understand Sam and apologize that he was to hard on him is exactly what Sam needs and not one who blames him for what he is or what he can do.
