| Oh, Ben. I was so sad for him when Daisy dumped him; he seemed so lonely and sad, I don’t think he open himself up to a lot of people. The last scene of him sitting at his house alone drinking beer felt so lonely, I wanted to jump in and give him a hug.
This is probably not a very popular opinion but I didn’t hate Daisy, I didn’t think she was amazing but I didn’t hate her either, I think she brought out another side of Ben and they were kind of cute in their own way. I found the scene of them lying in bad and her singing to him really sweet (and not just because Ben is shirtless)
Another scene that I really liked was the one where Ben is leaving and John is calling him "boots" I know it's such a random scene but I really liked Ben's smile and the way John was teasing him.
That lady that called 911 because the restaurant didn’t have chicken nuggets was hilarious and Ben telling her to try the fish was ever funnier!
I find the Chickie/Dewey dynamic really interesting especially when I compare it to Ben/John because both Dewey and John suffer from an addiction and right now John has his somewhat under control, but will he ever get to where Dewey is now? Will Ben be where Chickie is? When John told Chickie; "bottom line, I'll cover you as long as it won't cost me my job or land me in jail" I was thinking that maybe Ben will have to remind John of his own words some day.
Nate and especially Sammy were really sweet taking care of Janila, Tammy was an Ass for not wanting to take care of her. Sammy is running around buying her expensive cameras and putting up with her BS and she can't do this one little thing for him? I also really hate how Sammy is always apologizing to her. You can do better Sammy!
I love you Lydia Adams! LOVE!!! I'll admit that I didn’t like Lydia's character in the pilot episode, it wasn’t about the acting because Regina rocks! It was just something about her that seemed kind of blah to me, but Lydia has really grown to be one of my favorite characters on the show! It's so rare to find a strong, independent, smart female character on tv (because a lot of the times they tend to be weak and needy) the only one that come close (in my eyes) is Kyra Sedgwick's character on "The closer" but unlike Kyra's character Lydia is so compassionate, she doesn’t see things in black and white, she sees the grey in life, no one is completely bad or completely good in her eyes. Can't wait to see more of her in the second season!
Who is this Caesar guy? Is he the one that sold John the drugs in the last episode?
Dewey – you are a childish stupid moron! *sigh* poor Chickie.
I don’t care about Sal or his daughter; he is probably the only character I don’t want to see in the next season. Give Chickie more screen time please! I find her FAR more interesting than him.
I never warmed up to Russell so I don't really care if he'll live or die, which make me feel worried about the cliffhanger the show left us with. I know that a lot of people felt like they couldn’t relate to Russell so will they care to come back in the second season to see if he made it? Wouldn’t it been smarter to put someone like Ben, John or Lydia in the position that Russell is in? __________________ Icon:Hayat If you pursue the pop-culture thing and indulge yourself in it, go to all the events and get yourself on the cover of Us Weekly every week, that fame is fleeting,It's not a road you can navigate for a long time.
