Mezz wasn't ignoring you, we must have posted at the same time! Sorry/glad the house is sold and things can move along. It must be very hard. My folks moved a whole lot when I was growing up, and leaving a place you liked/were used to was always very hard. I guess that's why I've stayed put so long where I am! But I'm also very ready for a new place - I guess that's why I watch those house-hunting shows on TV with such fascination!

I could probably work out the working from home, with a computer upgrade, on the journal stuff, but Mrs Boss's stuff would be problematic, as I go pick it up and deliver it to her office.

We have several steps just to get up to the porch - then about 12-15 steps to the 2nd floor and same to the top floor (bedrooms)! Was wondering if I could scoot up on my bum backwards or something. I've found going up with hands and feet (like the dog) works pretty well when the knee is bum too. I don't mind improvising/looking ridiculous!

When a lady at our temple was dying of breast cancer, they had a similar house full of stairs, and put in one of those stair lift things, but I imagine they are fabu expensive (and also ugly). Oh well, hoping I can put it off as long as possible. Right now the shot is kicking in and feeling a lot finer today (although it hurt all day yesterday.) Too bad it's only a temporary fix, and also, I think it damages the cartilages etc inside there, so if you do it too much, it makes it worse in the long run. I don't know about this stuff. Seems everybody is falling apart at this age, though. Seems like the previous generation was built of studier stuff!

Was thinking that's why I've been having all the interesting dreams lately, because my knee was waking me up every time I turned over and straightened my leg out. Had a dream about a little pond down a road in the woods - and giant whales were in there! Dreams are so strange.

Sorry Viv is depressed - being old and sick is depressing! Oh and poor Em, life is just SO overwhelming at 23 (huh, Rob's age - poor Rob). Tell her there's no great rush, about apartments, husbands, or anything! Although it's true she is at the prime meeting/marrying age. I think as time goes by, it gets more difficult to meet anybody. Worry for my kids, esp Mr ML Jr. That whole dealing with roommate/finding apartment stuff after college was definitely no fun at all. Much nicer living with somebody you love and are willing to put up with their stuff, and vice versa!

Did I miss something? I didn't get to any bedroom scene in that story, they were just going off to hunt, at the end, I think. I liked the writing from Edward's point of view. I like Carlisle so much too, he is just such a decent person. All those characters are so well drawn by Stephenie Meyer, they really live, Esme so sweet and motherly, but also designing buildings! Well, only Rosalie doesn't really have much to redeem her, but I guess you have to have one prickly disagreeable person (to make it like real life!) LOL!
