I remember reading once the amazing "By The Grace Of Lady Vader" and its sequel | I could see her as having some utopian dreams, just like Anakin. But Anakin had the unusual circumstance of being literally a Jedi god. With that kind of pressure on him, of course he's going to go dark if he figures that's how he can save the galaxy. Padmé's just the icing on the cake. |
