Yes, a big no-no to bashing!
Maybe it wasn't such a huge thing that Rory didn't let Lorelai tell the truth to Luke the first time, but it was something I reacted to. And Lorelai is a grown woman, so if she would've wanted to tell the truth, she probably would have.
