I came he with a professor from Germany and a Post-Doc so together we're trying to find out everything we need to know. It's definitely much easier than doing it alone.
Spending some time in US has always been a dream of mine, and having years to pass there means you can really know the culture and the language properly, it's not your usual superficial experience in a foreign country you're merely visiting.
I'm glad you have at least someone to rely on.

I saved up a little money before I came to the US and sold some of my stuff back home. you really need a TV, especially if your addicted to so many TV shows as I am.
What do you watch besides Lost?
So you're from Italy? Should have asked sooner, I was wondering when you told me your name
I was a bigger TV addicted in the past, now I'm always behind with all the series. I blame Lost and how much the fandom has taken over my spare time, lol.
I watch House, Battlestar Galactica, Californication, Mad Men, Dexter... and I have a very long Must Watch list waiting for me, when I'll get over my laziness and look around for the episodes.
And yep, I'm Italian and living in Italy. And as you may have noticed, my English is not the best.

Ok, good to know *off looking for german people*
3 people would be ideal, but in the Italian thread now it's just me and another poster, so if you and Cat want the thread, 2 people can be enough.
